Why is Paris struggling that much to win against defensive teams? Why are the regular subs not hungry when they have their chance ?

This game and maybe the rest of the season could have end up differently if Busin got a inch of luck (75′) after avoiding the Cavani’s challenge and hitting the Paris’s two posts.

3 days after a laborious game in CUP, Emery decides to start with Aurier, Krychowiak, Pastore and Guedes in the XI. However, despite of couple of decent move from both side and a first alert from Nancy when Maouassa decides to test Trapp’s abilities (15′), the first half is pretty poor.

Cavani waited 19 minutes to touch his first ball…

For the second half, Emery decides to replace the limited Krychowiak by Matuidi to give some impulse to this PSG.

The desire slowly comes back with Cavani (53′, 58′), Guedes (62′), Pastore (87′), but Paris remains inefficient and a bit drowsy at some point even with this large domination (71% possession, 515 successful passes against 179).

Ten minutes before the end of the game and after a costly miss from Nancy when Busin touches the wood by two times, Cavani perfectly converts a penalty kick caused by Aurier.

The job is done, Paris won, got the 3 points and is now co-leader of the FL1 together with Monaco which is playing later today.

It was a good warm up, Paris is ready to travel to Barcelona next Wednesday and finish what they started.

it’s a recurrent problem when we play home against defensive team (Lille, Toulouse and now Nancy..), we don’t score quickly enough and then the game become complicated

Despite being 18th in Ligue 1, Nancy still proposed some game compare to Toulouse or any other team…
Paris needs to be 100% for all the games and not choose when to be focus!
